Your agent signs an EIP-3009 USDC authorization on Base for the exact amount and payTo returned above, base64-encodes the resulting payload, and retries the identical request with an X-PAYMENT header. The gateway settles the authorization on-chain and returns your data with a txHash receipt in the same response.
